THE GINGER BREAD MAN

In year 1 class we read the Gingerbread man story book. We learnt about body parts. In this picture we are exploring our face parts. It is so much fun!

We labelled the most important body parts in a big poster.

We also read some instructions on the blackboard. we followed the instructions to  make our own gingerbread man.

 
 

In this photograph you see some of us painting a huge gingerbread man.
 

With this book we also learnt about toys and food . Now we can express our likes and dislikes in food and toys.

We also learned about action verbs. The gingerbread man can run and jump in the story, but he can't swim. The fox helps him to swim across the river and the fox eats him up at the end of the story. Poor Gingerbread man!
